Best LinkedIn schedulers: compare native scheduling and partner tools

Postnchill does not currently offer LinkedIn publishing, so this guide does not recommend Postnchill as a LinkedIn scheduler. LinkedIn itself lets members and eligible Page admins schedule some posts; third-party tools may add multi-channel calendars, team review, or reporting. Choose based on whether you post as an individual, a company Page, or both.

Start with LinkedIn's native scheduler

LinkedIn's help center documents scheduling posts from its composer and managing scheduled posts. Its Page guidance says super admins and content admins can schedule some Page posts and newsletters; some post types are excluded. If your only requirement is scheduling supported LinkedIn posts, test the native composer first and confirm the current limits for your member or Page role.

When a third-party scheduler may help

  • Buffer: Its support page lists both LinkedIn Pages and profiles, with publishing, analytics, and engagement coverage differing by channel. Check the current table for the tasks you need.
  • Hootsuite: Its plans present LinkedIn within a broader publishing, engagement, and analytics suite. Confirm what is available in the exact plan and account type.
  • Planable: Its supported-channel documentation includes LinkedIn profiles and company pages and describes approval requests. Check role permissions and whether analytics or inbox features are separate add-ons.
  • Metricool: Its planning materials describe a cross-network calendar and per-network editing. Its plan page currently gates some network connections or add-ons; verify LinkedIn access before deciding.
  • Publer: Its supported-network and plan guides describe tier-dependent account coverage, customization, and scheduling features. Confirm which profile/page types and plan apply.

Compare the task you actually publish

Run one test for a personal profile and one for a Page if you use both. Try a text post, a link, an image, a document or poll if those matter, and a draft that requires approval. Compare schedule range, edit-after-scheduling behavior, roles, notifications, analytics, and removal of a former teammate's access. Verify that the scheduler's LinkedIn connection type matches the role you hold on the profile or Page.

LinkedIn's native scheduling can be enough for an individual or a single Page. A third-party tool becomes more useful when its multi-channel, review, reporting, or account-management features solve a real handoff problem. Keep the native option in the comparison; do not pay for a broader suite unless you will use the rest of it.
